Our neighborhood certainly is pet friendly, but lately, there have been several complaints about dogs not being leashed when outside and wandering and not being leashed when they are walked.
Please see the following language from the 2021 Homeowners Manual (found under Governing Documents on the Your HOA portal) that explains the rules regarding all pets.
All pets must be on a leash or other restraint and attended by its owner while outside. Pets are not allowed to run loose. Pets may not be tethered or housed outside of the homeowner’s unit. All pet deposits must be cleaned up immediately.
Barking dogs will be considered a nuisance and will not be tolerated. Violators will be reported to the Animal Control division of the City & County government. See City Ordinance, Article Section 6-6. A pet owner is fully liable for any injury or damage to persons or property, including the Common Area, caused by their pet.
Thank you to all the pet parents who follow these rules and an advance thank you to all other pet parents for becoming in compliance in the very near future.
